Should have never been in that position in the first place. The Buckeyes choked away the win as usual.

He missed the kick. Period. Mic drop. Caca happens, and always will as long as this sport is played by fallible human beings and not infallible machines. Is what it is.

How does a kicker miss that bad?

How does a world ranked pro golfer miss a 4 foot putt?

How does a pro golfer duck-hook the drive into the woods on 17?

How does an elite shooter miss a game-winning FT?

How does Blair Walsh make the same mistake as the Oh State kicker at 35 yds?

It's all the same. It's all mind fricking from pressure. It's why kickers have to be the most mentally tough player on the field.

It's all the same.

That looked like the snap and holder more than the kicker. Go watch again, the holder has his head down and never gets up. Ball was snapped behind him.

Bonehead move by day calling a run on first down. I think osu would've been better off having one or no TOs. They would've been shown more urgency. Classic case of overthinking it

Yeah. It really this. Ohio State was basically playing against themselves in the fourth quarter and lost, badly.

That loss would haunt me for years and sucks to be on that side of the fence.

Nothing personal, but these are the types of excuses that losing fans make. Ohio St. had ample opportunity and should have won that game at the end.

The Ohio State kicker hit a 48 yarder from the exact same spot with 2 minutes left, with plenty to spare.

The hold didn't look quite right to me and he may have overkicked, which means speeding-up and slight over-rotation.

Similar when you have 11 strikes and are going for the 12th and a 300 game and you overthrow slightly...everything feels different with the elevated pressure.

The kicker has to feel terrible because it was well within his range from what they were saying.

He’s never made a 50+ yarder before. The 48 yard field goal barely edged over the goal post. Day should have been more aggressive in getting some additional yards.

Now I remember why Ohio State fans are ridiculed by nearly everyone else in college football.

Georgia had timeouts to use, as evidenced by their use of one after Stroud's long run and their use of a second to ice the kicker.

Even the game announcers realized, in that situation, that the injuries benefited OSU by stopping a running clock and giving them more time to prepare a couple of future plays.
