Feels like Thad was still coaching OSU in 2021, not 7 years ago

They started this year going 8-1 including an 11 point win against Bama.

2-9 in their last 11

He’s lost double digit games every year but one…his first season with Ohio State (Thad’s players). This is LONG overdue. Ohio State has been to 3 Final Fours in the last 25 years, so the ceiling is really high for this program. From everything I’m hearing, the new President and AD are going to take some pretty big swings at big name coaches. Money is NOT an issue. Let’s go!!!!!!

Some things I read last week sort of insinuated that Nate Oats is the odds-on favorite to be their primary target. Not sure if that is something he would leave Bama for, though.

If that keeps him out of the SEC, I'm all for it.

Trilly Donovan tweeted the following as potential candidates: Nate Oats, Greg McDermott, Sean Miller, Lamont Paris, Dusty May, Mick Cronin, and Porter Moser. Basically thinks they're going to take another P5 Team's coach or May, who is the top of the list for a lot of schools.

Nobody outside of a few posters on this site thinks that Will Wade would be a candidate for that job

Maybe they’ll hire Fran mccaffrey and Iowa can take Holtmann.

That means he's ahead of schedule by living in South Carolina already. He should stay.

As an Aggie, I hope y'all don't go after Buzz Williams. He is the 11th highest paid coach in basketball, but I'm afraid you could afford him. Please don't take him. He is so good, and probably the most underrated coach in the country.
