Walker is likely in judging by the votes that have been made public.
Walker has a higher WAR than Jeter does in like 800 less games.
Public votes will have players at a higher %. I think Walker falls a little short. I hope I am wrong.
If I had a ballot:
Bonds
Clemens
Schilling
Walker
Sosa
Jeter
Wagner
Rolen
Jones
Ramirez
If I had unlimited votes, I would also consider these guys:
Helton
Abreu
Sheffield

Walker isn’t in? But Harold Baines is?
HOF is a joke
Baines made it due to the today’s game committee
If Walker doesn’t make it, down the road using this route he will as well

I just found my votes from the thread announcing the ballot:
quote:
Here's my ballot (in order of how they're listed):
1) Schilling
2) Clemens
3) Bonds
4) Walker
5) ManRam
6) Rolen
7) Sheffield
8) Jones
9) Jeter
10) Cliff Lee
ETA: I also think Helton should be in.
ETAA: And Pettitte too

Agreed, best defensive CF in MLB history and could swing the stick to boot

CF might be the toughest position to get in as just because of how many greats played there.

I want to see their ballot. I want to see who they voted for. Pretty ridiculous.

Looking at progressions, Schilling will make it in as long as he doesn’t say anything insane in the next two years.
However, Bonds and Clemens really might not have enough votes to get in. They aren’t making much progress at all.

So he's not getting in?
