Get a barf bucket before you see the 2026 Notre Dame Schedule. Maybe LSU should say frick the biased SEC and go independent. We would be in the playoffs every year
09/06 - vs Wisconsin (in Green Bay, WI)
09/12 - Rice
09/19 - Michigan State
09/26 - at Purdue
10/03 - at North Carolina
10/10 - Stanford
10/17 - at BYU
10/31 - vs Navy (in Foxborough, MA)
11/07 - Miami (FL)
11/14 - Boston College
11/21 - SMU
11/28 - at Syracuse

Say maybe two games that they could lose. The rest LSU's second team could beat those teams.

Idk if they make CFP at 11-1 or they shouldn’t. Penn st shouldn’t get in at 10-2

Miami is going to beat the shite out of ND

Somebody else is going to have to beat them though. An 11-1 ND with one loss to Miami is getting in the playoffs unless they grt absolutely skullfricked.

And it won’t matter bc they’ll end up in the top 12
Top 12 = CFP

No USC.
That used to be an annual tradition.

The Navy saved Notre Dame from closing for lack of students during WWII by locating an officer training school there. So Notre Dame will always play Navy in gratitude.

They can lose to the only real team they play and still very likely get in. It’s crazy how easy their schedule is.

ND is all but guaranteed a spot.

Honestly not as bad as a I thought it would be. Very average overall.

This is a soft arse idea.
If you want to be the best, compete against the best.
Why the hell do you people want to leave the best conference in college sports?

The perk of being an independent.
It ebbs and flows, though, just like unbalanced conference scheduling.
This is one of the weaker years and Notre Dame is built to take advantage of the opportunity.

They will get blown out by Miami. And if and when that happens it should honestly eliminate them.
1 serious game on the schedule and they will get smashed.

They have 3 decent teams on that schedule. 1 is a great team and the other 2 are meh....but the rest is bullcrap.
Miami, BYU, SMU.
Unfortunately if they only lose to Miami and have resounding wins on all the others, they will get into the playoffs. If it's a choice between an 11-1 ND or a 9-3 SEC squeaking in, it will always be ND.

That game is being played in Notre Dame Stadium. Don’t think it’ll be a blowout
A lot of the experts have Notre Dame winning the national championship this year
But with that schedule, I don’t think they’re gonna be challenged enough because when they really played the top teams in the country, they may not be ready

That pussy schedule, combined with the fact that they already start the season with a higher ranking so that they don’t have to fight their way into the top 10 is, in a nutshell, why I hate Notre Dame, I hate everything about that school.

There will be a good SEC school left out because of this soft shite but Notre Dame is very capable of losing to one of the soft teams on its schedule.

Easiest team to predict to make the playoffs. They do not look like a championship team though.

I do think they lose to Miami just because they won't have been tested at all leading up to that game. But SMU could give them problems as well. Very weak schedule.
