Quiet, doesn't fit the narrative.

Hopefully they lose 2 of those 3, at least.

11-1 Notre Dame is a playoff lock but it won't matter they will get blown out in playoffs.

It'll be an easy win for whoever plays them in the CFP, right?

Miami is going to beat the shite out of ND

ND will win the game. When that happens, this board will act like that win means nothing.

Exactly. SEC Champ UGA’s 8 OT win at home over Georgia Tech prepared them to beat ND in the CFP in 2024, as we all saw.

I do think they lose to Miami just because they won't have been tested at all leading up to that game
And Miami will have been tested?
Have you looked at their schedule?

They probably have to go 12-0 to get in. They would need help at 11-1.

Worse than ND’s. Nobody cares though, because Miami doesn’t move the needle like Notre Dame does.

Fair point. BYU is probably better than any opponent Miami will have faced by the time your game is in November. However, Conference opponents regardless of their record but again fair point.

Though unlikely Fitzgerald could have MSU in better shape by week 3 and MSU always plays ND tough as does Purdue.
Don't discount their rivalry games with MSU and Purdue.

ND will destroy them. You’re saying they have a shot now. They don’t. ND will crush them.
And then it’ll be “ND’s schedule sucks”. That’s how the MSECB works.

at BYU looks dangerous. also SMU at home is sleeper tough

No USC. That used to be an annual tradition.
That game was a casualty of USC joining the Big10.

Miami's schedule is not much better.
Posted on 9/8/26 at 1:25 pm to tke_swamprat
It’s worse. But: a) no one gives a frick about Miami; and b) “they’re in a conference”, because that apparently makes FAMU and Wake Forest better at football than if Miami was independent.
