and bullpens can very easily be tweaked and it needs to be stressed how bullpens have the greatest amount of performance variance from year to year

the cubs are fine. yall have a terrific young core that will be right back to where they need to be once bryant heals up over the winter and youll be getting a big pen piece back next spring with morrow. the bullpen may need some work, but outside of that i wouldnt be too concerned about the future if i were the cubs

dont want to be the last on the page there with my takes

MLB just announced the Rockies-Brewers series has been moved to TruTV. The Impractical Jokers will call the games.

Braves were 18-14 against the central.

We already did this with the salty cards fans this week.

The Cubs are still a playoff team the next few years and are no worse than the 3rd or 4th team in the NL. The biggest issue is they don’t have any prospects that could be a major piece going forward.

I remember the good ol’ days when every Division Series game was televised on ESPN, NBC, or ABC/Fox. Now, they’re televising playoff games on MLB Network and TBS. Sad.

I follow the Braves & Astros hard core. I don’t necessarily pull for them. I’m not one of those people with multiple teams

In 2014 FS1 had a sabremetrics telecast of one of the NLCS games. But they only did it for Game 1 for some reason.

Anyway, fantastic game tonight. I’m glad the Rockies won.

which is true. the braves look like they may be good for a while, i like them in the long run better than the phils. it really looks like the dodgers/cubs/braves battle for the next few years and the dodgers have shown they can still draft at an elite level at the back of the draft and find leftovers from the discount bin and turn them into muncy and chris taylor and morrow. still need to see that from the cubs and braves but i figure theo and anthopoulos can do it as they are very good people to have in charge

Congrats to the Cubs

Maybe by the year 2174, you will hit the 5 WS win mark.

40 games with 0 or 1 run scored. FORTY. Chili Davis needs to be fired yesterday.
