This is intriguing. Mike petriello being involved sounds great
quote:

It will be similar to what was done on ESPNEWS for the Home Run Derby. It will be on ESPN2 for the first time. Information, driven mostly by Statcast, will run in the BottomLine, in on-screen graphics and will be discussed by the commentator team

quote:

ESPN is producing an “alternate” broadcast of the game which will be carried via ESPN2. It will be heavy on statistics, using data provided by Statcast. White Sox play-by-play man Jason Benetti will be calling the action, assisted by Eduardo Perez and MLB.comStatcast writer Mike Petriello.

It's a great step. Encouraging to see and I really hope it does well so fox and tbs will look to copy it and maybe even go further down the analytical rabbit hole in the future

Obviously outside of Perez

It sounds cool. I’d watch if Perez wasn’t on.

I think Perez has been fine so far. He works okay as a contrast to the two stat guys.

Eduardo Perez sounds like he has a loogie stuck in his throat when he talks. Shits so fricking annoying
