That was Les Miles level of clock management
36 seconds on the edge of FG range with a TO and they do that?

Eberflus not taking a TO is absolutely pathetic as well
Not taking the time out makes sense as long as Caleb doesn’t just frick up and drag his arse.

That was easily top 5 worst end of game management I’ve ever seen having watched football for 35 years.

They should investigate if Caleb had money on that game

Bears weren’t playing for OT.
They weren’t playing for the win either.

The biggest coaching blunder was calling the timeout on first and 10 with the play clock running down. That timeout was more valuable than 5 yards. Coaches and QBs alike overvalue 5 yards vs saving timeouts. Same goes for when they called a timeout to not get a delay of game penalty with the ball on the 3 yard line. They wasted a timeout to save 1.5 yards.

That was straight from the book of Les Miles school of clock management right there.

It was a sack and everybody had to get back to the line from downfield. You absolutely take the timeout.

Horrible clock management right there.

Yeah the coach thought his QB had at least a clue. But it's gonna get him shite canned on Thanksgiving. Thanks Caleb.

The refs blatantly gave the bears a chance the win the game and they still screwed it up

Spot on. I don't know how analytics hasn't adjusted behaviours on this by now.

I thought going for two was a bad call. If the Bears had taken that point they could have run the clock down and kicked for the win.

Is Caleb dumb? Absolutely.
But if you’re the coach, you HAVE to call timeout immediately after that sack. Just crazy.
