They rarely ever show the Anthem on TV, but for Pro-Bowl and Super Bowl. The game after Kaepernick and it became "must show" TV.

the whole thing just became ridiculous. Kneeling was all but dead until Trump brought it up out of no where and then the players response was dumb because they started kneeling for reasons that had nothing to do with the original protest

Whether you agree with the intent of the protest or not, how people lost their shite over it and all was pretty surreal and they somewhat succeeded in hijacking the protest's intent or engaging in a straw man endeavor.
