Tunsil was definitely not the main issue on the Texans line last year but he is clearly in decline. From a pure value standpoint I get trading him for this but it’s little terrifying they’re gonna be starting a rookie at LT next year most likely

Commanders putting in work. Still need a legit WR2, DE, RB. Interested to see if they’ll land Hendrickson

Yeah, mixed feelings. Not a good run blocker, was still a great pass blocker, and had (what felt like) a shite ton of false start penalties this year

Yeah I think he led the league in penalties. But he was still very solid pass blocking wise and an area they needed to improve just got much worse

Stroud got hit a lot last year. I'm kind of shaking my head on this one, but maybe they'll draft a ton of oline now.

They pretty much have to draft a ton of OL. That was kind of the case before and it for sure is now.

I don’t think the value is bad at all for what Tunsil makes and how he performed last year but not sure it makes sense for where they are right now

His false starts always seemed to be on 3rd down too. I cursed him many times throughout the season for his false starts.

Twitter reports saying he wasn’t a good locker room guy either, so: overall OL performance last year, 28M cap hit, needing to extend Anderson, Stroud, Stingley in the next 2 years, and bad locker room guy sorta makes sense.

I think Demeco & Caserio have earned some good will with the team building. They moved on from the OC who clearly wasn’t working, and are now going to reshape the OL, we’ll see what happens.

I just got off the phone with Nate Hobbs. He just told me he is going to the #Packers.

4years, $48M, max of $51M.

I heard Lance Z saying same thing last week. Adding how Demeco often praises several guys for leadership but never Tunsil.

It would seem as though having your star anchor lacking in these areas would filter down to entire line and offense.

Rodgers would be the best passing QB the Steelers have had since the late Ben stages

I'd actually be okay with Jones but not at that price.

Rodgers isn't the elite QB he used to be but he's still better than Rudolph, Trubisky, Pickett, and Fields for sure. I guess him and Wilson are both equally washed up these days though

Not sure I love the long term game plan by the commanders here with so many expensive vets aquired via trade. I get going in on a roster with a rookie contract QB, but burning the picks is how you close a window faster than anything

OP update, Mack staying with the Chargers. One year 18 million. Also Pickett traded to the Browns for Dorian Thompson-Robinson and a 5th round pick.
