The guaranteed money has to be huge. It was a real bidding war with the Vikings. Cousin has the free agency timing of a true savant.

I'm not sold on the Kirk Cousins deal. He is coming off of a devastating injury at an old age. There is no guarantee he will be able to come back from this injury. I wouldn't be worried about Cousins...at all.

I doubt the Vikings will miss Kirk Cousins and his 1-2 playoff record that much.

Keep him, build elite pieces around him. Try to trade back to 2 or 3 and add more value. Work with Fields on his 2nd deal, he shouldn’t get elite money cause he hasn’t been elite.

Totally agree. He is going into this 13th season. That said, I am glad to have him out of the NFC North.

Former Giants RB Saquon Barkley reached agreement with the Philadelphia Eagles on a three-year, $37.75 million contract that could be worth up to $46.75M and includes $26M fully guaranteed at signing, per sources.

Barkley now beats the franchise tag number and has a maximum average-per-year salary of $15.833M, which would be second highest for a RB in NFL History.
