While it’s all debatable, it’s not far fetched to say he’s a 20-25 guy. I can think of three or four teams that might have two better receivers on their own roster.

I think he just has offsetting language in his contract, so there was no reason for anyone to post more than the vet minimum unless there was a bidding war. No different than when an MLB guy gets DFA’d.

And there are probably at least 10 where he'd be the lead guy

So it’s not far fetched to say he might only be a top 20-25 receiver then

He said Pittman is not that, though.

Breaking: Former #Cowboys RB Tony Pollard is signing with the #Titans, per @AaronWilson_NFL. He will pair up with Tyjae Spears as Tennessee says goodbye to Derrick Henry.

Gotcha… just saw your post saying name 20 better, and assumed he was saying he was only a top 20-25 guy.

According to a report from the Washington Post reporter Jason La Canfora, Falcons owner Arthur Blank thinks highly of the current Chicago Bears quarterback.

"Multiple rival executives suggested to me that Falcons owner Arthur Blank is higher on Fields, a former first-round pick, than many of his football staffers, and Atlanta is doing a lot of work on free agents Kirk Cousins and Russell Wilson, as well," La Canfora writes. "I expect one of those three will land in Atlanta."

Oh Jesus.

What if the bears made a run at Kirk and dumped both the 1 and fields…

I know that has 0 to no chance of happening but that could be fun.

Pollard signing seems odd as him and Tyjae have pretty similar skill sets. Not sure Cathcart knows what he is doing

Bengals franchise WR Tee Higgins has requested a trade, per sources. Higgins loves Cincinnati and hoped to be with the team long term, but is disappointed that the team has not had any talks about a long-term contract extension since March 2023. He’s ready to move on to a new home

It was always going to end this way. They're not going to pay him long term as a #1 WR, nor should they. They have too many roster holes to fill.

If Brian Thomas falls to them, it's as close of a 1 to 1 replacement as you could ask for.

Pretty ridiculous thing to say about a guy that has yet to play in an NFL game

Both are the same size but Thomas is much faster. If he goes to a team with a guy like Joe he'll be a monster.

They're pretty similar players. Thomas is smaller, but faster. Thomas has a ton of raw potential if he can stay locked in and keep developing as a total receiver.
