Espada and Brown should be axed if they go 2-4 or 1-5 on the road trip.
They are a package deal, can’t fire Espada as the scapegoat when the GM’s contract is up at the end of the year.

He’s had one winning season in the last 5 years. People vastly overrate the impact a manager can have on wins and losses in general, but I don’t understand the love for the guy. The national media is following and speculating on his next move like he is some savior

Should be Mendoza. Significant talent level difference between Mets and Astros. Mets should be contenders - not surprising the Astros are in the spot they are.
