So unless something happened while the car was obscured by those buses in the foreground, then there is no way this cop was dragged by the Scheffler driving the car.

I'm curious if he started driving again after the video cuts off, when the cop has his had on the door handle. That would be the only way I could see a "dragging" event happening.
If that is the entire interaction before he is taken out of the car, oh boy the cops are full of shite.

Theres a longer video and he does not. Car doesnt move and more officers arrive and arrest him. Thats literally the extent of the "incident".

It’s amazing how cops immediately go into COA mode with all the cameras out there. Only way to smooth this over is an apology and a firing. If this guy truly was/is a detective as originally stated, his credibility to bring a case against anyone is completely gone.
