Has Texas Tech paid him yet? Cause he's still be sued by Cincinnati for a $1 MM

It would basically eliminate any hope of the NCAA enforcing any of its eligibility rules.
Yeah that’s the broader issue. This case will determine what, if any, enforcement authority the NCAA has.

LSU dodged a bullet, although I think he’ll win in court and get to play.
It will go to a Texas, kangaroo court, with Judge, probably a Tech grad.
Remember the joke of a court verdict, with Mike Leech case. 2of 3, or 3 of 5 judges on panel were taco tech grads, and tech won the suit, lol.

He should never be allowed to suit up, again.
Agreed, it will look as if they are somewhat making him an example and maybe rightfully so. I just don't see how anyone with a reasonable objective opinion would think he should be reinstated with eligibility. I don't care how much you dislike the NCAA.

I wouldn’t bet on it.

Theoretically his attorneys just need to find a friendly judge and then drag things out on appeal while he plays, no?
Only if a judge agrees to issue an injunction.
As a judge, I would be a lot more willing to listen to an argument about how NCAA eligibility rules around amateurism are BS than an argument for someone gambling on their team.

Tech judge who was assigned the case already recused himself. This ain’t Alabama or Mississippi. There are plenty of other judges from other Texas schools.

Doubtful. This is one where the rule is pretty damn clear
ADA doesn't require pharmacies hire drug addicts, regardless of how successful their rehab might be.
