Good. The less people they have on that show, the better.
More than three on the set = CLUSTERfrick.
For God's sake, when will they stop this? Looks like shite.
KEEP TO THREE OR LESS, dummies.

Finally, I couldn't watch the pre game or halftine for the NBC games, that liberal bastard

I think at one point they had seven fricking analysts on this show.

About fricking time. Olbermann is an absolute clown. I will start watching again.
Posted on 8/5/10 at 10:31 pm to ehidal1
ahh he never bothered me that much but neither did he endear me to himself either.

I hated him. He and Dan Patrick just giggling through highlight reels with their clever little inside jokes just annoyed the crap out of me.

Whomever they get to replace him will still do that with Patrick.
Listening to Patrick's radio show that seems to be his shtick.

I don't care for KO anymore but its NOT bc of his liberal views. Frankly I don't really care either way.
I just really dislike his smug/snobby demeanor. Well the whole show's snobby/smug demeanor for that matter. Costas, KO, Patrick, CC all come of as elitists and that you should be grateful that they allow you to listening to their expert opinions. I mean we are talking about football, its not that complex.

this is about sports not politics
Which is exactly why they pulled him from Football Night in America. Keith has a hard time not injecting his political views into even sports discussions.

that show is full of fail
Network NFL pre game shows all suck hard. ALL OF THEM. I haven't watched a network pregame show in years. Now that I have NFL network I never will. They try to fill the screen with as many people as they can---all trying to talk over one another while making stupid predictions that never play out in the actual games. WASTE OF TIME.

This. Honestly, though, I wish that they would stick to mostly highlights and let Olbermann and Patrick relive the old school Sports Center days, with ONE guy there to provide the actual analysis after they do the highlights for each game. Maybe a weekly rotation of Bettis, et al.

PAtrick and Olberman were fun back in the SportsCenter days, but you can't go home again. What was once fun and clever banter is now a forced schtick. They aren't the same people anymore, and it no longer feels honest. It's just too big stars trying to read from a script. It's like Boomers still trying to be cool. Give it up. "Hip" moves on, and when you try to hang on to it, it's just sad (not to say old guys can't be cool, but it's normally when they aren't trying, and certainly not when they are trying to revive what was "cool" 20 years ago).

Amen! This is exactly why Return to Waltons Mountain TV special just didn't work for me.
