Outside of the catch and shoot 3 from the wing, which he is great at, he is useless. Can't finish at the rim, can't dunk, can't get to the line, not a good passer or ball handler, turnover prone. He's just not that good a player unless he's just doing literally one thing. And his personality sucks.
Exactly. His knees are shot. Basically only a spot up shooter that can't play defense along the lines of a rich man's Anthony Morrow, hence why he got way less than a max deal.

Interesting. I agree on Golden State though.

Because you added two Pels who are horrendous defensively that 3 months ago you would have said they were below replacement players?
K. You're one of kind boom.

It was just the other day I was told those guys were playoff caliber players on Pels talk. I'd take whatever the Rockets put together over what the Pels did with them.

Houston was all kinds of dysfunctional this past year. You'd have to think this was their "floor" and they can only go up from there?

they were, as a 3-4th option at best. People love to exaggerate, but the reality is.
Ryno is a black hole offensively, he does not like to pass at all. He rather settle for either a bad step back (which he's improved I will admit) or tries to take it to the rim. He's pretty bad defensively, but a good wing and center can hide the deficiencies. The issue is, Harden is unpredictable. He played REALLY good defense 2 years ago, the best in his career. Last year, he played like his whole career: shite
EG is a good shooter, he's not as bad with the ball as people love to say, but he is not great. He does not take many shots at the rim since his last knee procedure two years ago, his knees are shot. His numbers dropped drastically (30% -> 20% FGA within 3ft; shot 58% and now 48% from within 3ft as well). He's also below average on defense at this point, after the knee injuries over the years they're just kind of shot sadly
They're good pieces as role players, but if you're depending on them as #2-#3 on your team than it is a little bit more than you want to bargain for unless Harden continues to dominate the ball as efficient as he has been.

I pretty much agree with your post word for word. Well said
EG should look better in HOU though. He's finally away from the CP3 trade expectations.

Are playoff caliber players guys who have made the playoffs?
Go back to playing NBA live in your dorm room, gent

You can't find a post of me bashing either of those guys.

Toronto is in the Gasol hunt. Guess he would kick back to the 4

Hopefully he ends up there. I like the East beefing up a bit.
Indy, Boston and New York are all improved. At least make it competitive for Cleveland.

Yea I'll say 52-54 wins something like that. Depending on matchups then can get to WCF. Safe to assume Golden state wins the west next year if they have decent health.
Is this the 2015 FA thread?
