Sooo apparently Kawhi straight up hid from the spurs when they went to visit his rehab. Oh yea, those two sides are totally going to reconcile

All has been quiet on the Spurs front since. No major suitors have emerged
Jesus christ

If that's true the Celtics are really stupid for trying to trade Kyrie away. The Celtics are gonna mess everything they've built up.

Why? He wants to leave and play in NY next year

Feel like this won’t end well with Clint next summer

More $ available next summer, right?
Posted on 7/5/18 at 9:03 pm to WestCoastAg
Spurs are just trolling at this point.

Yep, a ton more money next summer. A lot of one year deals were signed this offseason and a lot of the deals from the 16 offseason will expire next offseason. Unless you get what you want (like Gordon) it makes sense to just take your QO and open your options next offseason. Players like Capela, Smart, and LaVine would all benefit from that.

I don't think the Rox will have the money available to resign him in '19 unless they trade Ryno, which will be damn near impossible.
Posted on 7/5/18 at 9:50 pm to ShaneTheLegLechler
I don’t think Clint will sign the QO. He doesn’t have much leverage and this is one play he still has left.
They’ll work something out I’m sure. Neither side wants the QO.

clints people leaked that. Then CC put out an article about how good Isaiah looks. Let’s be honest Clint ain’t in the court at the end of the game v GSW. AND even without Clint you gonna he second best sqaud to warriors. Clint needs to go ahead and take his 4 for 15 deal or whatever and get to work. #Run it back

Clearly San Antonio doesn’t want to trade him. I know I’m speaking in hyperbole but This could be their biggest mistake in franchise history

What are the Rockets supposed to do? They did what every team does when it comes to RFA of Clint's caliber. They let him go out to sign an offer sheet so they could match it. The problem is nobody has any cap space thats willing to offer him the money he's looking for. Most of the teams that might've offered him have no reason to offer anymore (Phoenix & Dallas).
I don't fault the FO for making him sign an offer sheet, I fault the last CBA that's fricked every player that isn't a max player the last 2 years.
Just bad timing for Clint.

Pretty sure Dallas will jump all over signing him next year to a fat contract if he takes the QO this season.

Yeah but they could make the Finals this year with him.

Hope this is true. As an Ingram fan boy, I’m glad Magic is holding him in such high regard. He may just blow up next season playing with Lebron
