So that means the Pelicans can offer him a max after we dump Ingram next year?

If kawhi stays this off-season is an A+. If he goes to the Lakers it drops to a B.

I really hate L.A. between the bitch arse Rams and the Lakers. Gross

It’s gonna be kinda messed up and funny at the same time if Kawhi costs both his hometown teams if he stays with Toronto and waited so long to let them know

I'm kinda surprised hes choosing Toronto. I really didnt think they had a chance as recently as a day or two ago

@Gambo987
The Phoenix Suns will NOT include Josh Jackson in any trade for Kyrie Irving.

Listening to the Simmons pod from yesterday, I found it weird that their pitch was “hey lebron will be out in a couple years and this is YOUR city”

Meanwhile you have another 26 year old superstar who still hasn’t signed long term being told he’s basically 3rd fiddle and it’ll never be his team

Prolly means nothing now, but if this year goes south and AD starts having second thoughts, I would bet there’s 10 Athletic articles that mention that conversation being framed that way

It must be nice having enough money to own a franchise and not care at all about the performance of the team or how it’s been run lol

Believe so according to Bobby Marks

quote:

Moving Jackson/Melton for Korver/Carter gives Phoenix the room (after Korver is waived) to sign Ricky Rubio (not speculating why the trade happened). Before the trade, Phoenix was about $2M over the cap when factoring in Rubio.
