If the Lakers don’t get Kawhi they are going to have to make some deals fast as hell.

All the max player mistakes that they would've made are no longer available. They'd have no choice but to do what people said they should do anyway, which is add role players.

guess it depends when it goes down. if he strings this out all week then wed be fricked. but if he goes with toronto or the clippers like tomorrow wed have some ok options but not ideal obviously

Which is good in theory, but that's when all the solid, championship caliber role players are still available.
Harder to do that when there's only C and D tier players waiting to get picked up.
