It is a referendum on the state of our current t society when wanting to be a dog and have your own team is frowned upon. Jimmy should be lauded for his decision imo. I am a big supporter of this.

think you are really overestimating the supporting cast that will be around those three. Kuzma is a good role player but there wouldn’t be much after him.

Better than the Rapz.

Stop digging.

Also, this isn’t to say the Lakers shouldn’t go for him. You have a chance for that combo, you go for it.

This is strictly from Kawhi’s standpoint of wanting to manage the workload

If Kawhi goes to the Lakers it would destroy the potential competitiveness of the season.

If he goes back to Toronto, or even goes to LAC, the league including the west is as wide open as it's been in a long time.

The entire league should he hoping Kawhi doesnt go to LA. It's a Durant to GS type move, albeit not as ridiculous with the 72 wins stuff.

Just crazy considering he’s the second best center on the team.

Green, JaVale and Rondo don't need rings. There's no need for them to take a discount.

unless a serious season ending type injury happens to any of the big 3, i dont see why it would be too difficult for the lakers to load manage them around a hypothetical injury that pops up

i really dont think that will be an issue at all

Nice to see DJ get paid. He has a lot left in the tank. Still the best defensive rebounder in the game IMO.

And yet somehow, you’ll be back here in a year or sooner talking about deandre Jordan taking the MLE to go play for the rockets.

For the 4th consecutive year.

Jeff is a real one, but if Kawhi isn't even taking his meeting until tomorrow (or tuesday?) why would him or anyone's camp be leaking that he's coming now?

What you fail to understand is that the formula for winning a championship has been established for years. No one does it by themselves.

So if being a "dog" is more important to you, that's fine. But winning championships requires putting the ego aside most times. Everyone says they want to win a championship but not everyone's willing to do everything it takes to do so.
