Who said they were better? If Kawhi isn’t in the east next year, the nets aren’t there yet without KD, and I think a lineup of Simmons, Richardson, Harris, horford, and Embied, is better then the bucks having Bledoe, Middleton, Giannas, and Lopez. Not only that Jimmy Butler is a shite locker room guy, and Richardson is a good player. I’d say they stayed the same, never said they were better and they can certainly make it to the Finals.

Honestly don’t think it’s a huge difference. Richardson is going to look really good parked off the ball now instead of in the clusterfrick that was Miami where he was the primary scorer. Great defender too

I’m so ready for Jimmy Butler to be in complete obscurity in Miami and never have to hear from him again.

He’ll be more visible there than he was in Minnesota.

The real question is, who is he gonna pick on his team for the pickup game when the heat aren’t winning? Outside of whiteside they have a bunch of guys that play hard but just aren’t that talented, so he won’t be able to use lack of effort as a reason this time around.

No way did they get better. But they might not need to get that much better.

The NBA is wide open right now.

idk why their odds for a championship skyrocketed after the KD signing. He ain't playing for them next year and Kyrie, DeAndre and Dinwiddie ain't sniffing the finals.

Is Tillman re-writing his 5 tenants of business book now?

I heard 3 of the 5 were Rejection.

What happened to Jimmy wanting to come home?

Probably had a conversation with CP3 and came to his damn senses.

Philly turning Butler into Richardson is really nice. He's such a better fit and for half the price. I like their odds.

I agree

Butler has had problems wherever he goes. At a certain point you have to feel like he's the problem.

Question for the board:

How much does load management come into play in Kawhi’s decision?

We know he claims that was a big part of his success in Toronto.

Obviously, not something the Lakers can pitch as it will he LeBron-AD-Kawhi and scrubs. Those three will really have to carry the load. There won’t be a Draymond and Iggy to lean on for depth.

On The Jump, Woj just said Jimmy preferred to have a team built around him than to be the third option.

Jimmy is a dog. He wants to do it his own way. Like harden and dame. Etx. I have all the respect in the world for that. good for him.

what

Having lebron and AD would be a very easy pitch for load management. We would have a rotation where we would always be guaranteed at least two of them playing

He only suited up 60 games during the regular season for Toronto.

And we can easily do that with AD and lebron also getting their share of time off. It would be an insanely easy pitch to make
