Miami is finalizing a sign-and-trade with Philadelphia to acquire Jimmy Butler, league sources tell ESPN.

Damn and Boom was so confident that Jimmy had agreed to take less pay to be a spot up shooter for James.

can’t blame jimmy for going to Miami. it is one of my favorite cities. I would certainly live there over Houston. People sometimes forget that these are often times lifestyle decisions and not all about basketball. Hoop is one part of the equation. But not the only factor, By a long shot.

Translation; nobody wants to play w James. And butler knows they ain’t a real player.

I didn't think Philly had the cap space to add Horford?

I’m Happy to be wrong. I’m also happy for jimmy that he got his max and gets to live the life in Miami.

Can't wait for "clutch city" to blow up the team midseason after HardLn is tired of CP3 of making fun of his manboobs

Best news of the night. Basically every player outside of kawhi who could possibly get a max has either: a) gotten one or b) is heavily linked to a team

We have been saved from ourselves if we dont end up with kawhi

NBA is incredibly wide open right now. I think Russell ends up in Minnesota and for some reason feel good about Kawhi to the Lakers. 76ers may have gotten themselves to the NBA finals for next season.

I’m so ready for Jimmy Butler to be in complete obscurity in Miami and never have to hear from him again.

Soooo..

76ers lose Jimmy Butler and JJ Reddick and get... Al Horford and Josh Richardson.

And y’all think they got better?

If Kawhi went to LA they would win the next 3 titles. NBA as of right now is incredibly wide open. Kawhi to the Lakers would obviously change that in a heartbeat.

To be fair, you could make that argument they're more balanced.

Butler needs the ball just as much as Simmons. Now you have 4 guys who can play off ball and secondary handle with Simmons maximizing his efficiency.

With butler and Simmons, you had too many possessions where Simmons is useless in a corner.
