Decrease the amount of TOs college basketball teams get in a game AND limit the number of reviews to a challenge-style process.

The teams already get 4 media timeouts each half. Considering most coaches save the majority of their TOs for the second half, there is no reason to have 4 media timeouts + 6-7 (combined) team TOs in 20 minutes of basketball.

The last 2:00 of a close college basketball game is absolutely awful with the constant stopping of play. Seemingly every other play gets reviewed. Plus, coaches are calling multiple TOs. This leads to the final 2:00 of game time often lasting 15, 20, sometimes 25 minutes, in real time. It kills the game flow.

Full game suspension for incidental head to head contact needs to go. Sit for a series or a quarter, not a whole game.

Go back to the old overtime rules in college football. Of all the terrible decisions made in sports over the past decade or so, college football moving to a 2pt attempt starting in the third overtime may be the worst.

Get rid of the rule that on strike 3 if the catcher misses the ball the batter can run to first

Start calling targeting on offensive players, too.

Since they'll never actually get rid of the rule, this is the next best thing I can think of.

Nfl offensive team fumbling into the end zone causing a touch back for the defensive team.

At minimum, go back to the ten for the team that fumbled.

I kind of think a compromise would be better. Starting in 3rd OT you start on the 10 and have 4 plays to score. No field goals allowed.

I know you said one but I’ve got two for college football. Eliminate the sitting out for the rest of the game, or first half of the next game. We’ve all seen horrible calls that hold out a great player for what looks like incidental contact when a runner lowers his head or is being tackled and as a result there is head to head contact. Make it a series, a quarter, or something besides the long suspension.

The other is overtime rules. Start further back and get closer each time. Similar to the 2 point tries we have now but make it from midfield, then the 25, then the 10. If they somehow make it to four OT then go to the 2 point try. At least give the defense a chance in the first couple of OTs.

fumbling out of the endzone is a turnover and not some type of big penalty

What you are going to do when the offense fumbles out of the back of their endzone?

4 is too easy… have teams alternate one play each from the 10

I say let’s get rid of the select/nonselect split in class 5A
