I heard the most mind blowing baseball stat the other day:
Fernando Tatis is the only player ever to hit two grand slams in the same inning.
However, even more (less?) impressive, Chan Ho Park is the only pitcher to ever give up 2 grand slams in the same inning. Both to Tatis.
I've know for years about Tatis, vaguely remember when it happened. Never realized it was off of the same pitcher.

Jim Palmer pitched in the majors for 19 seasons, ZERO grand slams given up.

Bobby Bonilla still gets paid 1.1 million a year every July first, for doing not a damn thing, and he will continue to get paid until 2035 .

quote:Yeah how do you let a pitcher load the bases (he did, I checked), give up a grand slam, proceed to pitch through the entire lineup without getting out of the inning and then let them pitch to the guy that had a grand slam earlier in the inning?

The Dodgers started the third inning with a 2-0 lead. It was still just 7-2 when Tatis came up the second time. What the hell kind of game management is that.

Steve Spurrier never voted for Darren McFadden in two years of him being up for the Heisman.
Stats Darren had vs Steve
Freshman- 187
Sophomore- 219
Junior- 321
Steve's just an arse hurt little bitch.

How does this completely incorrect “fact” have 7 upvotes? On an LSU forum no less.
Manny people don't realize this but the 2019 LSU football team led the league in HRs while at the same time only allowing 9 goals against. Truly an astounding accomplishment.
This will get at least one upvote.

I know it's well-known, but Dock Ellis throwing a no-hitter after taking LSD because he got his days mixed up and didn't realize the Pirates had a game is hilarious.
Also, in the 16 game NFL season format the Saints were the only team ever to go 13-3 and not get a 1 seed in the playoffs and it happened to us twice

For my fellow LSU brothers and the shite they're getting for a bad memory about LSU 2019s dominance.
If I knew how to post videos I'd post Mike Greenburgs spot on analysis of just how good they were.

The 2019 LSU Tigers (15-0) boast arguably the greatest college football resume in modern history. They achieved a perfect 15-0 record, swept the SEC and National Championships, and set the single-season FBS record for points scored (726). They defeated a record-breaking seven top-10 opponents.

No. 7 Florida: 42-28
No. 9 Auburn: 23-20
No. 2 Alabama: 46-41
No. 4 Georgia: 37-10
No. 4 Oklahoma: 63-28
No. 3 Clemson: 42-25
