I guess getting paid > any remote chance of winning something

He wanted to go to a team that at least had a chance of contending, but it was blocked by the Browns. Now he's going to waste the rest of his prime going nowhere in Cleveland.

Poor bastard.

If someone offered me $160,000,000 to not go to a Super Bowl, I’d take it.

Do you even Kahlil Mack, bro?

The Raiders packaged a second round pick (#43 overall) along with Mack to the Bears for two first round picks (#19 and #24 overall). If you look at the draft value chart, the difference between the #19 overall pick and #43 overall pick is 405 points which is about the #49 and #50 overall pick. So the package was essentially comparable to a late first round pick (#24) and a mid second round pick for Mack. That’s not really even close to trading ‘3 Top 10 picks’ for Mack.

I guess winning is not important to these players anymore. A better team with a chance to win the SB would have given him something close to that…

You're acting like it would be outside the realm of possibilities. It's not.

He and other big name guys were never in play for bills

Bills will try and get a 2nd tier lineman, or possibly two second tier lineman

Also bills released Von so that opens up some money for two guys maybe if they don’t actually sign Von back

Yeah Crosby at $35M at age 27 is now a steal compared to Garrett at $40M at age 29.

now that hes locked up they can get 3 top 10 draft picks in a trade for him
Nobody is giving up 3 picks in the 1st round for a DL with that big of a contract. Plus he has a no trade clause, so the Browns lose trade leverage there since Garrett would have to waive his NTC

Should have been kicked out of the league when he assaulted a guy and then tried to play the race card.

Myles Garrett extends in Cleveland

Things like this are funny to read if you remove context.

Myles Garrett just…gets longer, but only when he’s in Cleveland. If he leaves the city he returns to normal size.
