Curious, what does the OSU-Michigan rivalry look like all time.

Michigan leads 58-51-6.

UGA is 42-18-4 all time vs Clemson.

Not exactly between two decent programs, but Alabama/Mississippi State is the shortest distance between two schools in the SEC. Alabama leads 83-18-3.

Much of Michigan’s success is prior to WW2. Since 1950 they have a losing record to OSU and are like 38-32 against MSU.

Are they still a “blue blood” of college football? Of course they are. But many of their “all-time” statistics are padded by wins against schools for the deaf and college for physicians

I don't think people understand the absolute domination we've had over them all time. It's incredible

Clemson isn't a great program overall.

Many close losses by LSU to both Bear and CNS.

UGa is 15th in all time wins, Clemson is 20th. Frank Howard, Danny Ford, Ken Hatfield, and Dabo have all fielded some excellent Clemson teams.

What gets me about the REALLY lopsided ones with OU, Nebraska, etc are that you would expect a program like Okie State or someone to pull off more than one upset a decade, and that would imply that they were underdogs every year. Winning 3 of 10 would be a major improvement for some of these.

ISU is pretty bad. This probably around what I’d have guessed

6 of those matchups were in bowl games, so you were getting two good teams on the field.

Got to remember that back in the day bowl games were considered exhibition games.

Seems like some people don't understand what a rivalry is.

Wisconsin is 22-3 in its last 25 games against Minnesota. They lead the overall series 62-60-8, which gives you a sense how much Minnesota dominated, like, 100 years ago.

Georgia is 11th and Clemson is 14th
D1 and this is definitely their "golden" era

Wouldn't put Howard and Hatfield in the same sentence with the other 2.
Howard averaged 6 wins a year in 29 years and was under .500 for the entire decade of the 60's

Gundy is 2-14 against OU and is 1-4 when the Pokes are the higher ranked team.

This is the craziest part to me. Gundy has fielded some pretty solid teams over the years. Yet he cannot seem to beat the Sooners. Even when he has the better team, they will still find a way to lose.

Considering Clemson wasn’t really relevant on the National stage in college football until about 2008 when Dabo took over, I believe it.

A national title and a 87-25-4 record in the 1980s is pretty relevant.
