2009 when the 13-1 Saints lost to the 2-12 Bucs. Hartley missed a chip shot at the end of regulation. OT was a blur and Bryant won the game from 35 yards. I was 15. It was a tough day.

Last game of the regular season at home vs. the Rams.

A close second was Flynn's OT pick in the 2007 Arkansas game.
I don't understand how this can be anyone's most devastating game? A week later, the game was fricking irrelevant.
shite like 1/9, Saints-Niners 2011 playoffs, LSU-NCState last week, those choke jobs last fricking forever.

I was at the LSU/#1 Arkansas basketball game in 1994. Alex Dillard hit a three to send it to OT, and then Scotty Thurman hit the game winner in OT. LSU lost 108-105.
Two weeks later, I was at the LSU/Kentucky game, where LSU lost a 31 point lead with 15 minutes left.
Whole lotta this going on after those two games:
And people bitch about being LSU basketball fans now.

The most shocking loss was Norfolk State, but Mizzou had a few injuries in that game and didn't have the inside presence to win a title that year, so that's not my choice.
My choice is the 2002 Elite Eight loss to Oklahoma. That tournament was the only time in my lifetime I believed Mizzou could at least have a legitimate shot at winning the national title. If they get by OU, they get a very beatable Indiana team in the Final Four and get either Maryland/KU in the final. That was a great KU team and Mizzou played them very tight three weeks before in Columbia. Just having a shot at playing for the title would have been great.
The game itself was frustrating. Clarence Gibert, playing with an injury, made just one FG. The team missed over half its free throws and yet, they lost by just six points. Everything went wrong but they still lost by only 6.
If Quin gets to a Final Four in year three, who knows what kind of domino effect that has in recruiting and momentum. Perhaps he doesn't gamble on Rickey Clemons. I think Quin was a good coach who made a few mistakes. If they win that game, you never know. Perhaps he is still there.

As a MU fan to me it would've been the 2nd round game in Boise in 95.
I wanted to choke that arrogant a-hole Norm. Just foul him it's over. And then they show Sammy laying on the floor like a starving Ethiopian in a relief camp. I wanted to kick him. My roommates dad was a MU season ticket holder also, so I had watched that team a lot that year.

Just thinking about this thread
Missouri has to have the worst luck when it's come to finishing off games.
5th Down
The Davidson kick
The blunder in Boise

2013 NBA Finals. Game 6. Spurs 28 seconds from winning a title on the Heat's home floor.
Then everything that could possibly go wrong, did. Lost in OT and went on to barely lose game 7.
But game 6 was the heartbreaker. Literally had to reevaluate the way I watched sports after that, cuz it fricked me up, I won't front
