Saints vs 49ers in 2011 Divisional round.....by a mile. After Graham ran away from the D to put us up with little to no time left I thought that was the dagger but nope. Needless to say I drank unhealthy amounts of alcohol that evening. I still say to this day that was supposed to be our 2nd Lombardi. No way the Giants beat us in the Dome and no way Tommy Boy outduels Drew in Indy.

I know I should say 1/9/12, but we had a hell of a season that year. I was upset after the game, but LSU-Arky was the most upset/mad I have ever been. I got so drunk after that the next day I woke up and had forgot we lost to Arky, but then I got on TD and I was pissed and depressed for a damn week.

I remember a friend telling me after "well we still can get back in it if Pitt can knock off WVU." and I just laid into him ", are you fricking retarded? Do you really think WVU is going to lose to that shitty Pitt team?? It's over!"

Love you Shady and Wannstedt!

I was actually referring to 17-0 this past season, but I was pretty mad after '07 as well

Well that would definitely be an odd pick

It was. That loss hurt me more than 1/9/12 or any other loss. I can't explain why, but it did.

1/9/12 was like somebody taking a butter knife and easing it in a centimeter every minute until it pierced the heart and killed me.

I have 2 but I think the OSU/Texas game in 05 is the worst for me. OSU outplayed VY for prob 3 of the 4 quarters and Texas still pulled it out.

The other would be the disaster against UF in the title game

For games I was actually at:

1993 Saints/Eagles. Eagles scored 26 in the 4th. First saints game I ever went to (grew up in Shreveport) plus the only game I've ever gone to with my dad and grandfather

2000 Byrd vs Evangel
Never thought I'd be devastated from a highschool game

2006 LSU vs UCLA
Just straight assbeating. Brady was totally lost

1/9 would be the pick if I had been there

I'm surprised Bama fans aren't unanimously picking the Kick Six. I can't imagine a more soul-crushing way to lose. Not just the game winning play turning into a walk-off for the other team, but basically ending your season AND it happens against your most hated enemy.

Oh it hurt for a looong time afterwards. The sun didn't even come out for several days, and I refused to watch ESPN till Christmas. We tried to forget and move on when it was time for the Sugar Bowl, but of course losing didn't help. FSU winning helped ease some of the pain, but it was still a hollow feeling once the game was over.

Winning this year helped a lot.

Second-worst had to have been the 1984 Cotton Bowl. Texas was undefeated and No. 2, and it looked as though the Longhorns were going to out-field goal Georgia and win 9-3.

Then Texas fumbled a punt deep in its territory, and John Lastinger (GA QB) ran in for a 17-yard touchdown.

Later, No. 1 Nebraska lost to Miami. In theory, had Texas won, the Longhorns would've been 1983 national champions.

1978 Falcons-20 Saints-17

My first NFL game. Saints lead 17-6 and with 2:23 left, punt to the Falcons who get the ball at their own 23. We leave at the 2 minute warning with the Falcons still backed up. We get back home to Mississippi later that night to find out the Falcons came back to win on a last second Hail Mary. I was only six and began to cry my eyes out.

LSU vs Tennessee 2010 with the snap over Jeffersons head. Followed shortly by the most elated I've been to see Dooley tears.

Mavs vs Warriors 1vs8 seed match up, and Dirks MVP year

Cowboys vs Eagles 2008. It made it worse thathe I watched in a house full of saints fans.
