The #Packers made a "significant long-term contract offer" to QB Aaron Rodgers, according to @RapSheet

The two sides however are "Not in a good place."

Ian also added that on the report by @MikeGarafolo that Rodgers has talked to several players about joining him somewhere else

So we're now at the part where the Packers management is trying to get the Packers fans to turn on Rodgers by leaking BS contract details.

Aaron Rodgers is the softest bitch in the NFL. He can't even make amends with his brother. I'm sure he'll make amends with 40+ million dollars a year though but he has to virtue signal in the mean time.

Never realized everyone hated Rodgers.

He is definitely a douche but I respect him for owning it.

Aaron Rodgers would look good in Silver and Black

If I’m the Packers I would ask for Carr, two firsts, and two seconds

Let Carr and Love duel it out. If Adams leaves they will get a third for him as well.

Packers could be set for a long run with that much draft capital.

I mean, Rodgers threw the first stone in that fight so hard to really blame the team there

Any Aaron Rodgers trade can’t include a starting QB going back to the Packers.

If the packers end up not starting love after trading Rodgers, they will get roasted for essentially proving Rodgers right and basically creating this situation by their own hand. Packers aren’t going to sign up for that

Plus getting back a bloated QB contract kind of defeats the purpose of having a starter on a cheap rookie contract and the benefits that provides

A 3rd Round pick for the best WR in the league last year? Did you mean a third 1st round pick?

financially, Seattle actually eats more dead space trading Wilson (-7mil). Green Bay actually gains some (albeit not much; +5.6mil).

Grand scheme of things, its already been discussed that Wilson would get a trade next year.

boo hoo

Packers created this situation and now want the fanbase to turn on Rodgers. Trade Rodgers, own the Love pick, and move on.

Rodgers has every right to be mad. The guy is in the twligt of his career and on the verge of going to another SB. Rater than finding a piece to compete, the Packers draft a project qb who wasn't even good enough to win the backup job.

Cool, now they want to throw money at Aaron. They must not be feeling the Love.

The GM just blinked. What he wouldn't spend on free agent help he now feels compelled to throw at the franchise QB to try and keep him in the barn. The problem is that Aaron just ain't feeling the love either. This will end badly.

Can we stop pretending like Rodgers didn’t leak all that shite pre draft in order to win over the public and create this entire trade controversy?

I mean I agree he has some legit gripes about the Love pick, but it’s funny to me that Rodgers used leaks to get his version of the story out and leverage the packers, and now that the Packers are doing the same in retaliation you guys want to clutch your pearls about it

That’s not ever a good thing.

“Owning it” is only good when it’s something quirky, not being an a-hole that refuses to speak to your own family.

because the packers told him they would trade him then did nothing about it so he went nuclear
