The league is not involved in the Allan Williams situation, per sources. I’m told it was his decision to resign. This has repeatedly been categorized as a personal situation and was handled internally by the Chicago Bears.

Just saw that as well and texted my buddies, "that guy kinda sucks at everything."
Based on the few details available thus far, I'm going to guess that he has a gambling addiction ("health") and he was betting on NFL games potentially including the Bears (FBI).

He was hired specifically to spearhead the Bears move out of Soldier Field into a new stadium.
He was with the Lions when they moved from the Silverdome into Ford Field, and was in charge of building US Bank stadium when he was with the Vikings.
