I think since August or September, it was 118ish.
its like a 108 win pace since august
110 since september
obviously both are strong numbers and reflect that even though the mets absolutely choked in the final week, they didnt lose the division as much as the braves won it

Best season in over 35 years and still a failure.
you talking regular season record? mets were in the WS in 2015 and 2000

Yeah I'm not married to the 118 number, I'm just going off the top of my head. 110 is still nuts and like you said, illustrates that the braves just kinda took it.

correct. mets had a great year. braves were just unreal and caught them at the end for a photo finish much like we did in 93 with the giants

Mets sniffed their own farts way too much this year. This is so poetic.

Sad collapse by the Mets

They deserve this for all the Tommy Trumpet bullshite and then turning Diaz into a 7th inning long reliever to use in games they’re losing.

The only thing that could save this game is a great Josh Hader meltdown

dude, last night was the first he pitched in the 7th since 2015 with the mariners
he faced 8-9-1-2-3 and sat down, ottavino came in and lugo finished a game they won

They went 1-7 at home against the Cubs/Fish/Nats in September and couldn't win 1 game in Atl. There's a lot more than just "some" failure.

Meanwhile back in LA the Dodgers celebrate advancing to the NLCS.
