Oh shut up.
Sir Winston had a virtue signaling post to boycott MLB after the All Star Game decision. That lasted 18 hours.
The usual politards melted when the Red Sox/Twins game was postponed.
But now you're back to MLB but the NBA is too woke. I guess there are enough white people in MLB for you to forgive them.

Completely lost interest in this dead league.
Posts about the league being dead in a thread about it having its highest streaming numbers ever.

Comparing to 2020 tells me it's not good.

highest streaming numbers in an 18 day period is a very weird thing to release. all streaming numbers should be up year over year just based on viewing habits changing. this doesn’t actually tell us anything about actual viewership overall
I bet 2019 was an increase over 2018
2018 was an increase over 2017
File this under “no shite Sherlock”
will they release this every 18 days to tell us that it was the highest 36, 54, 72 day period in MLB TV history?

This memo indicates that MLB TV is more popular than ever before. That does not necessarily reflect on the overall popularity of MLB.

Haven't watched a minute of it because of the All-Star Game horseshite. But, I do have to admit I'm taking a little satisfaction in the Chinese Basketball League knob-polishers on here having to eat some shite from their "baseball is dying" mantra.

The press release also states that live MLB network broadcasts are up 12% from last year and that ESPN live broadcasts are up 33% over last year's average.
So... yeah, more people are watching baseball.

Last year had horrible ratings. What's the difference between this year and 2019?

KC Royals are playing great so far but I haven't watched 1 second since the All Star BS....frick'm.

I'm confused.
I thought MLB was suppose to go broke after getting woke and moving the all-star game from Atlanta?

On those national broadcasts
Factor in the number of people not watching on Bally because they've shut out the biggest streaming providers.
I'm pro-baseball even if I'm anti-MLB for the moment. But to me this sounds like an attempt to paint a rosy picture based on partial data. Seems obvious the regional broadcast numbers are going to be way down because so many of us can't watch. And I suspect like me, many people are tuning into ESPN to see games with more enthusiasm because we can't watch nightly like we're accustomed to.
Braves-Cubs on ESPN would have been a 50-50 proposition for me last year. This year it was a must see because it's the only Braves game available all week.
