You wanna resign Puig? If not, he could fetch a little something I reckon. Gennett too if you can restore his value a bit

Puig is a fan favorite, so I could see the Reds resigning him. He seems to like it there. But, you’ve got Senzel and Winker seeming to be long term in the OF with Trammell on the way in next year or so.

As for Gennett, he’s a cincy native, but he’s expendable imo. Of course, this is assuming his value comes back up after coming back from injury.

Yankees will get a starting pitcher but not Bumgarner, Boyd, or Minor

Exactly, his season high prior to this season was 27 and 22 before that. The park plus just the ball have hurt him big time

If we keep losing Mike Minor for what I can only assume will be a Teix like haul

Mets will be sellers in a way. I looked for Wheeler and Frazier to be traded. Doubt they move anyone else unless they are blown away.

The need to blow it up and start over though.

every game we lose increases the chances of trading Minor IMO. his three year rolling stats are great, Id like to keep him around for another year or two.

everything i’ve read insinuates that the punk Jon Daniels will listen to offers, but they better come correct or he’ll just hang up the phone

He had an interesting line in today’s outing against the white Sox

5.1 IP 9 H 4 R 2 homers...and 13 k

It’s like a poor man Gerrit Cole!

He’s being paid $9.5 mil this year and the same in 2020. He has the best contract out of all pitchers in baseball.

He's a 31 years old pitcher, he's not bringing back a huge haul. This ain't "Out Off the Park baseball".

He’s statistically been the best pitcher in baseball this year and is under control for beyond cheap for an additional year.

He would demand a massive haul and to say otherwise is stupidity.

No one is over paying for a 31 year old, who's had a good season. last year was average to mediocre, then a decent one before.

That isn't getting a huge haul from anyone, who has any common sense.

Doesn’t he have an FIP and xFIP in the 4+ range? I remember reading he’s being buoyed by an unsustainable LOB% like 15% over his career average

Bumgarner would fit in nicely as Houston’s #3 starter.

ETA: but the Braves may need him worse..

I agree. I like Minor, but I’m sure most teams see him as possible fool’s gold. He won’t bring back much if traded.
