Cards have been favorites for Montas but the shoulder injury that sounds exactly like Flaherty's may very well scare them off.

William Contreras hit his 10th home run Tuesday, giving the #Braves 7 players with double-digit homers before the All-Star break for the first time in the team's Atlanta era. Austin Riley, Marcell Ozuna, Dansby Swanson, Matt Olson, Travis d’Arnaud & Adam Duvall are the others.

Walker made quite the jump to #7. I wish I was still in Springfield to see him.

When's the last time one team had two catchers raking like TDA and Contreras are? I mean, I'm sure it has happened recently and I'm forgetting, but to have two catchers who can hit like that is pretty rare.

I mean just a few years ago the White Sox had Grandal and McCann

Grandal hit .230/.351/.422 for an OPS of 112
McCann hit .289/.360/.536 for an OPS of 143

Like I said, I was sure I was forgetting someone . I just know it isn't very common.

Nah it isn't common because finding two offensive first catchers is hard..... Dodgers had Piazza and Paul LA Doca for a bit before trading Piazza for Charles Johnson who was legit but they never hit at the same time

Yankees had Mike Stanley and Jorge Posada at the same time with Joe Girardi

Nope. You can tell he has some good stuff, but he didn't put it all together. Very exciting future ahead of him though. Winckowski looked bad in his first outing as well and has been pretty good since then. Big step up in competition for him tomorrow though, hopefully he can keep it up.

ETA: hopefully Raffy is back too.

How did the Yankees lose to this trash team? Their bullpen is double-A quality.

I doubt Walker gets traded. If he keeps mashing, he can DH, move to a corner OF, or play 1B when Goldschmidt retires or moves on.

Ohtani's last 4 starts

26.2 IP
12 H
7 BB
0 ER
40 Ks

During that stretch he raised his OPS from 823 to 839

The Angels could get blue balls from a prepaid prostitute

29 and a Free Agent next year.... does he get more than 40m a year?

Seattle or New York could make a run at him and should but him pitching and hitting makes it more unique
