I mean the dude has pitched a lot and doesn't look like he has the body type of a Verlander or Max.... hell Greinke turned into a finesse pitcher while Kershaw still pumps it up to 94+

Yeah, I wasn't trying to diss him or anything like that. It just seems like he's closer to 40 than he is.

He’s been so damn good for so long. I agree with you, I always forget he’s not 36/37

Wainwright will be on a broadcast as soon as he wants to after retiring. He’s a natural.

Patrick Corbin gave up six earned runs in the first inning tonight. He was taken out of the game in the first inning for the second time in three starts. Two out of three!

His season ERA is now 7.02. Headed for his 16th loss. He threw 40+ pitches to get two outs.

Most games with 20+ swings & misses, pitch-tracking era (since 2008):
Max Scherzer: 84 Chris Sale: 46 Clayton Kershaw: 40 Jacob deGrom: 39 Justin Verlander: 39

Pretty shocking how far ahead of an elite field Scherzer is here.

Mets about to sweep the doubleheader. Smoltz and Rosenthal are critical of the Hader trade.

He went to Mizzou, and he is from St. Louis. Way to go!
