Wilbon is a true piece of shite. He could’ve been cancelled in today’s world for what he said about Sean Taylor’s death.

What did he say? I know Cowherd showed his arse when Taylor was killed but that dude legit hates black men, unless they are Obama.

You don't start your day with 30 minutes of "outrage porn?"

George Orwell was prophetic with "Two Minutes Hate"

Did Wilbon name drop a half dozen black athletes while he made this statement?

Wilbon has always been one of the biggest pussies in media. Aside from his political and racist viewpoints anytime a player sustains even the slightest injury he’s the guy who wants to change the rules. He just sucks

In a WashingtonPost.com chat session on Monday, prior to the news of Taylor’s death, Wilbon also blamed the victim.

I know how I feel about Taylor, and this latest news isn’t surprising in the least, not to me. Whether this incident is or isn’t random, Taylor grew up in a violent world, embraced it, claimed it, loved to run in it and refused to divorce himself from it. He ain’t the first and won’t be the last. We have no idea what happened, or if what we know now will be revised later. It’s sad, yes, but hardly surprising.

This is his fault, Wilbon implies. He deserved to be shot. Whether he wrote it or said it aloud, it is clear from his writing that Michael Wilbon believes Sean Taylor got what he deserved. He “embraced” and “loved” violence, which completely justifies his violent death.

There’s a ton of speculation about the details of his condition and the details of the incident, but this isn’t a blog and we’re not going to get into wild guessing and speculating here, though we will try and responsibly discuss other points of interest surrounding the latest strange episode relating to Taylor. Again, I’m not the least bit surprised about the Taylor episode … why would I be considering his history, even since he joined the Redskins?

Doubles down like the smug prick he is. Sean had seemingly turned his life around with the birth of his baby girl and was on his way to having an All Pro season at safety.

Actually, that's one of the few times I agreed with him. Taylor did run in that world. The "he just turned his life around" claim has been used to the point of satire.

You don’t say that shite right after the man lost his life in a home invasion. It’s callous and no class. The pieces of shite that robbed and murdered him decided to do so after one of their crew was at a birthday party thrown by Taylor and saw him hand some money to his sister. It wasn’t some gang related incident and they didn’t even live in the same town. He’s not even home for the invasion if he wasn’t out injured at the time. Just completely senseless.

Hopefully the next time you throw a birthday party someone doesn’t case your house and decide to come back and attack and rob you.

The same people who hate this man for what he said here, probably also trashed Charlie Kirk in the last week or so

I’m not saying he was right about Taylor or that I agree with him (I don’t), just pointing out the likely hypocrisy

His whole last year at Tennessee. Multiple times he got busted/suspended for recruiting violations and still continuing to commit the same violations while suspended/in the public eye.
The last 2 weeks of the sec tourney & ncaa tourney was a shite show for him

The timing wasn't great, but the sentiment was correct. To answer your question, nobody I would have at my house associates with people who would "case" my residence.

If TLDR, it's pretty interesting. Turns out Wilbon actually posts on Tigerdroppings.

I like Pearl and have always liked Pearl. But in the dirty world of college basketball recruiting (which was even dirtier in the 80's/90's), that was a bridge too far. Every great recruit was getting improper benefits. Everyone knew it. But you don't try to ruin a kid's college career over it.

As far as the claims of him being "divisive", that's pretty ridiculous. Pearl has his own opinions on things. Particularly in support of Trump and Israel. But I fail to see how he was divisive at Auburn. Best I can tell his players didn't really care about his comments/beliefs. Neither did the school. In the end, that's all that matters. Whether some national pundit who isn't an Auburn supporter doesn't like his opinions is totally irrelevant.

He was mad he lost a recruit so he committed a crime in an attempt to ruin a 18 year old's future prospects. Yeah, that's very shitty.
