I know a guy pretty well connected who told me about Fitz three weeks ago and this yesterday.

I guess they don't need Dan Gilbert or Mat Ishbia money now.

Wasn’t Gilbert’s wife going to donate a frick ton of divorce money this year to avoid that tax bill?

Kind of interesting that MSU basically have cleaned up the insurance industry billionaire donors

Someone on /cfb mentioned this exact number a while back and that it was tied to hiring Fitzgerald.

Doesn’t matter if the money is just going to facilities.

$401 million “commitment” is not the same as an all at once $401 million cash donation.

Don't care how much money I'd have but would never give a dime to South Carolina football/athletics. Not for what they've put me through in my life. I get in the irony in that I'd effectively be able to maybe change that in some way, but frick that.

I got my degree; I'll just stick with what I've always known - dogshit football.

Do you think they’re going to spend all of this on NIL or something? Is it even specific to football?

Man, they had this donation in the pipeline and still went with Fitz? They don't want to win.
