They done him dirty Lied to him about and being adopted and being an actual family member And gave zero $$$ from the movie that was about HIM There’s a special place in hell for those people
Probably should’ve waited for the whole story

Attorney Martin Singer issued a statement on the Tuohys’ behalf that called Oher’s claims “outlandish” and said “the idea that the family ever sought to profit off Mr. Oher is not only offensive, it is transparently ridiculous.”
Exceedingly confident claim for an attorney right out the gate. So...betting odds on the paper trail in favor of the family.
quote:
Attorney Don Barrett, a member of Oher’s legal team, said in a statement Tuesday night, “We try cases in the courtroom based on the facts. We have confidence in our judicial system and in our client Michael Oher.”
Hmmm?...confidence in our client and the judicial system? Sounds like something Amber Heard"s lawyers would say.

Agree. Otherwise, the Tuohys would have had to give consent for every NFL contract Oher entered into (not to mention any other contracts), and there’s no indication that that was the case.

That’s the best fricking part about shel and the other true believers
The Tuohys did the conservatorship to seal his measly movie earnings, but didn’t care to take his millions from the nfl

The question isn't "is this a shakedown?". It's pretty obvious that it is an attempt to shakedown the Tuohys and drum up publicity for his book.
The question should be "Is Michael Oher broke?" And, "Where did his money go?"

The guy doesn’t seem to be too bright. He had the Tuohys, who were fast food titans, who were close personal friends with the best sports agent in the business, and they decided to go against their suggestions to go with sexton and invest in fast food and instead he chose his own agent and distanced himself.
Whoops

If Michael needs money he could have got it by helping to grow the family business
But sounds like he wants money for nothing.
Dude made 20-30 million playing in the NFL, where did that go?

So far, it doesn’t sound like they exercised anything relative to the conservatorship other than to comply with the NCAA, get him health insurance and a driver’s license.

Yeah, very trashy people.
Trash-food restaurants, and they obviously didn't treat Oher respectfully.
I'm totally shocked the movie was manipulative bullshite, and Americans ate it up like fake food...

Is this another thread where Pride comes in, gives his opinion, gets downvoted to hell, and turns out to be right?

Poster I replied to previously told me I was ignoring the truth whenever I offered a couple alternative theories that could be possible from this.
