Of course:
1. Outfielder’s name is Braydon
2. He has huge oversized retard glasses

He also said “now I’m gonna sound like a mass murderer”.

I don't feel like a coach telling his team that he loves them is really "virtue signaling."Of course it was. He stopped the game with 1 out left and a big lead to do it because he knew he was mic'd up. If he wasn't doing it to virtue signal, he'd have waited for one more out and made his little speech to the team in a post-game huddle.

Yeah, sorry I gotta agree - he knew he was mic'd up
then more than likely this was a look at me moment. He could have told them he loved them in the dugout after the game.

I wish these douche coaches were mic'd but didn't know it. They all act like nice, sweet, peaceful guys because they know they're mic'd on ESPN. Our little league coaches would ride our arse like we were grown men. It's all fake. I want to hear them actually coach and yell.

I love how we all have such strong opinions on this coach we've never heard of.

Some people just find gross attention seeking distasteful...which is EXACTLY what the coach's actions were.

This wasn't a situation where the kids were down 7 runs going into their final at bat and were dejected knowing the likelihood of pulling out a win was minimal. I could understand the comment in THAT situation.

Instead, this attention seeking bozo goes out there, knowing he's mic'd up...because the KIDS even knew he was mic'd up...with his team up 6 with one more out to get. He says "no matter what happens, I love you". No matter what happens? What is about to happen is the team is about to win the game. He could have told them all after the the game that he loved them. And no one would have a problem with that. Except he would not have been mic'd then.

The statement is fine and should be said to teams more. It's the timing of doing so that is ridiculous

Any coach worth his salt knows that when your pitcher is cruising, you don't call time out to talk to him...for any reason.

What he did was basically the equivalent of stopping the game so he could post on FB about how much he loves his team, who are about to win, so he can rack up the "likes". Managed to make the moment all about him.

They coach has repeatedly told his players "put the knife in their throat", why else would his players answer like they've heard it thousands of time before. Douche coach knew he was mic'ed up and his coaching moment was ruined by reality

This^^^^

I remember my Little League coach asking our pitcher if he had a spine or was he a pussy?

We were up 4-0 in 6th inning and he had walked the first two batters on 8 pitches.

The pitcher was pissed and struck out the next three batters.

Most of those coaches do seem fake.

The kid's comment was funny, though.

I don't know if it's virtue signaling but he could have just waited until the game is over and told the entire team instead of calling a time out with 1 out left and telling a few select players.

It's showboating for the cameras.

There is zero chance he does that without the cameras.

Kid got hit in the elbow and couldn't leave the game dude some quirky substitution rule. He caught a ball in left field and ran it in to his SS.

Spoke to our old little league coach the other day. He said if he was mic'd up back then they would've had to stream the game on HBO
