re: Media suggests that Christian players are the bad guys for not supporting Pride Night

There is no difference. They have a right to think that. All I am saying is don't be a hypocrite about it. People probably want him thrown off the team for not supporting their degenerate sexual behavior. The same can be said for the people who wanted 3rd rate player Kapernick removed for kneeling. If you are going to support one. Then you have to support the other to have the same "rights". Not saying that Kapernick wasn't a good player at one point, but by the time he pulled the social media stunt because of his new girlfriend. Kapernick was washed up.

He ran away because what he said was a blatant lie and he can’t back it up with any substance

I'm fine with sports leagues prohibiting players from writing custom messages on their uniforms.
The flip side to that is that sports leagues should not be able to force their players to wear social, political, or religious messages they don't agree with.
Imagine if you showed up a work and the manager said you have to wear a "I'm pro-choice" or "I'm pro-life" hat at your desk to keep your job. Nobody sane would think an employer should be doing that.

Does the media suggest God is the "bad guy" for raining down fire and brimstone on Sodom (and Gomorrah)?

Damn bro…you come in a barf all over this place last night, insulting someone that’s deceased, blasting everyone for having a different view than you, and somehow rolling along with something about kneeling during the anthem.
quote:
Wow, he sounds like a real pleasure to be around.
This would make total sense if you said it about yourself.

Like all those gay people that knock on your door to try to convert you? Wait?
I’d much prefer this to being forced to play along during sporting events, work events, concerts, social gatherings, etc. At least I can have a real dialogue with the folks ringing the doorbell. The ones you defend choose to run around the streets with bullhorns while LARPing and yelling at anyone who simply chooses to sleep with someone of the opposite sex.

Will never understand the infatuation with broadcasting your sexuality as if it is the only personality trait that you have.
Gay pride month is so weird lol

It’s probably a mix of people that crave attention, surround themselves in the echo chamber, and have no other redeeming qualities worthy of being part of an identity. Kind of like the people that block traffic to protest ICE and whatnot.
The only gay people I interact with think pride month/night is horseshite.

This won’t be answered because they can’t answer it. Specificity and reality are the enemy of their arguments. Hyperbole and broad strokes are all they have.

Same can be said for the argument that certain minorities are being held down by the mythical barriers in government and society.

My guess is that there are Christians players who support pride night or not bothered by it or feels there's no need to make any statement on pride night one way or other.

Oh, Lookie. MLB has issued a warning to the players who wore Bible verses:

quote:
Major League Baseball has drawn a line in the sand: rainbow logos are fine, Bible verses are not. Three San Francisco Giants pitchers have reportedly been warned by the MLB after appearing during Friday night's Pride Night game with Scripture references written on their caps, prompting a fresh round of questions about whether baseball's diversity mantra extends to Christians who dissent from the league's liberal social messaging
quote:
MLB was not amused. "The writing on the cap violates our rules, and consistent with normal practice, we have warned the players about future violations," MLB Chief Communications Officer Pat Courtney told The Athletic. Roupp, however, made clear he wasn't backing away from the message.
quote:
MLB's increasingly politicized promotional events have routinely expected players to participate in league-sponsored social campaigns and wear themed uniforms celebrating causes they may not personally support. However, when the players have expressed their own religious convictions, this becomes a problem for the MLB.
quote:
Turning Point USA Spokesman Andrew Kolvet wrote, "MLB should tread carefully. There’s a lot more us fans that agree with the pitchers than with the league when it comes to pride night propaganda. Let the MLB be warned, not the pitchers. Be careful, MLB."

It is a choice to ignore that on a night dedicated to people who need others on their side. Do better. That’s the only thing we’re all supposed to do around here, anyway.
The only thing we are on earth to do is to make sure gays feel supported? Nah, sorry, I got other things to do.
