USA waxed USM twice. They must have gotten a star player back or something. They’re the 8 seed.

Started 2-7 in league play. Had a stretch of 4 straight games where they had a lead in the waning moments, but ended up with a single digit loss. After that stretch, went 7-2 to close the regular season, many of those games weren’t remotely close. 3 point shots were falling at a higher clip and they were rebounding just a touch better. USA! USA! USA!

Agreed.

Been a very fun team to watch this season, very cohesive group.

If you feel so confident put your money on it. They are 1.5 point favorites

I'm not a gambler. But if I had to pick a winner of that game, I'd go with the Cajuns.

If USA wins, I would also not be shocked, even though it is not what I expect to happen.

A 2nd tourney appearances in 13 years might buy Bobby Marlin an extension.

I want the Cajuns to win for the players, but damn, that program has become so stale and what used to be a really good fanbase has become so apathetic that I’d really hate to see Marlin’s tenure continue.

Either way, I haven’t watched a single total minute of college or pro basketball in the past year, so I guess I really don’t care.

Should be a very good game tonight between these 2 teams

Jordan Brown was the difference in the first 2 matchups

It took him 4 years to get there and another 9 years to get back if it happens tonight. While I'd be happy to see them make the tournament, we know he's not the coach who can consistently get them there.

It'd be fun to go check this game out tonight, but damn I have a case of the Mondays. I live just a couple miles away from the Bay Center.

ULL closed out their first undefeated home season against South Alabama with a 74-64 win, Jags led by 1 at the half. They won the first game at USA 79-76, Jags led by 7 at the half. They are actually pretty closely matched.

If UL has to rely on outscoring USA by 10-plus points in the second half again, they may come up short.

South Alabama is shooting 63% and up by 4 at half.

Not sure how to feel about that.

Don't love it but don't hate it.

Cajuns seemed to be taking quick shots when they shouldn't have at times and were not capitalizing on turnovers.

But this looks like the other two games they played from what I understand. Trailing at half sure does.

Can ULL close it out?

Up 63-59 with less than 3 minutes to go!
