Jets’ RB Matt Forte has announced his retirement. A great run.

2,356 carries 9,796 yards 54 TD.
554 catches 4,672 yards 21 TD.

I would have had to get to 10K rushing if I was that close.

He made $44 million during his 10 year career. He's 32 years old and is healthy. Great time to retire and enjoy life

Sucks that he wasted away on some very bad/mediocre teams. Don’t think he was prolific as Steven Jackson but they had similar careers in that respect

Damn, wish he would've stayed to get 10,000 yards, but what a career. Made Louisiana proud

The definition of a workhorse back. He had a long and great career in the league. I remember watching him play for the Wave, we would have been 0-12 without him

He made a ton of LSU folks sweat the first half of the 2007 game a lot more than they would've

2014 defines his career:
266 carries, 1038 yards
102 receptions, 808 yards

Talk about the only option....

One of my favorite Bears players.

The duo of Forte and M. Bush was great to watch. A 1, 2 punch.

My favorite Tulane player. Besides Shaun King and Lester Ricard.

Or as Cowherd called him today, Matt Forty.

How the shite do you read Matt Forte's name wrong 6 or 7 separate times?

Add his receiving stats also. That doesn’t show the whole picture of what this guy did.
