On ESPN’s latest “30 For 30: The New York Sack Exchange,” former New York Jets defensive end Mark Gastineau confronted Brett Favre for “taking his [sack] record,” after being called out by Gastineau for “diving” as Michael Strahan sacked him.

Gifting someone a sack record is such a weak thing to do, and even weaker thing to ask for.

That dude is heavy on the pills. Surprising he’s still alive and functioning.

Gasteneau is a duck and deserved getting fricked over. Get over it

He wouldn’t have the record now anyways and was tied by Houston or whatever his name was and beaten by watt

I thought I had read somewhere he is battling Dementia, Parkinson's disease, and Alzheimer's disease.

Should he care this much about a record? No

Is he right that Favre laid down for Strahan? 100%

Ugh that's tough to watch, especially knowing that both Brett and Mark's bodies and brains are wrecked by football while Strahan is living a dream life post career.

Strahan was gonna finish the sack. Favre faked a handoff and Strahan was already in his face. Not only that TJ Watt has broken Gastineau’s record as well.

Dude needs to move on. Favre did nothing wrong…. Other than sending dick picks and embezzlement

We see that same kind of “give yourself up” play like 20 times a game these days. It’s kind of funny watching people get up in arms about it

Oh for sure, not arguing Favre should have taken a hit

But the whole play looks weird from the jump, it always felt like an obvious gimme

Receivers aren’t running routes hard, Strahan goes practically untouched on a PA rollout to his side. Packers up 9 with 2:42 remaining and basically zero reason to throw the ball on first down

Looked like a preseason snap for a make a wish kid

Jared Allen also has a recorded 22 sack season.

He only had that sack total because the league started recognizing them in 1982. Deacon Jones has 22 sacks twice in the mid 60s, Al Baker has 23 from back in 1978

So was Strahan and damn near every single other player whether they admit it or not.

Thought I heard somewhere awhile back now that this was pre-planned. Favre does a play action then rolls Strahan’s way.

I felt worse for Green Bay's offensive line that played their arse off that game to not give up the record. And then Favre flopped at the end once the game was out of hand.
