Freeman has a better overall winning percentage than Kelly since the move.
Freeman is also 8 - 4 against ranked teams since the move. Kelly is 3 - 6.
Despite some of the shite I talk, I generally like you, LSU fans. But goddamn if y’all didn’t listen to us who spent 12 years watching his teams when the hire happened. It was always the man who was the limitation, not the institution.

I don’t think Nick has anything left in the tank. Maybe he will after a few years off but I can’t see it.

And look, maybe Freeman will turn out to be a good coach. He seems like a great enough guy and his players love him. But the dude was also handed a top program much like when Les Miles took over for Nick Saban. Freeman should have more success out the gate than Kelly, who literally took over a program that had bottomed completely out due to a moronic shrimp boat captain who found a winning lotto ticket on your ground.

3+ years ago that’s an excuse, not these days. Unlimited transfer and NIL you should be able to turn a program like LSU around in a year, 2 tops. I’m sorry but the “cupboard is bare” excuse in year 3 isn’t going to fly.

How is LSU in NIL? I haven't seen or heard about them making any big noise in that respect. No offense, but they don't seem to have the warchest of other top programs.
