Here's the real deal. Johnny doesn't have a drinking problem. He went to rehab for the wrong reasons. Now I am sure he learned something about life, but I knew he wasn't gonna stop drinking. He is a 20 something kid who is lucky enough to have the talent to play a game for millions of dollars. He is a fool and should be cut from the team now. He needs a serious dose of reality to slap him in the face. Now if he wants to be z young man and party, that's cool with me. But if I am the Browns he hasn't lived up to what they agreed to its bye- bye.

And I bet you the veterans of the league (3+ years) dont fit into that category. Which is why they are still playing. Work hard, play hard when the time is right.

Gronk is going to go down as the best TE in history (or close) and it's not an issue for him. It's an issue for Manziel because they media made it one and has hounded his every move. We have no reason to believe it has effected his play or preparation for games.

Good to know that you don't need NFL talent to throw for 372 yards and a td on 73% passing.

Oh, well in that case he deserves a contract extension and a raise. I thought he had only thrown 5 TDs with 4 INTs and 6 fumbles for his career. That's SOME talent.

And if I'm JFF the Browns haven't lived up to what they agreed to. The Browns fricked JFF by drafting him just like they have fricked every QB they've ever drafted.

Someone in his camp took that video and made coin. From watching it, you can tell he knew he was being recorded and didn't think it was a big deal. Poor dude got sold out.

Really????? Johnny would be a screw up no matter where he played. He loves the attention. I truly think he could be a pretty good qb if he took his job seriously. He is great at telling people what he wants them to hear. But if I were the Browns I would still cut him now.

If your boss told you he was going to write you a check for 2 million this year for your salary and asked you to not go out partying on the weekends, you wouldnt comply?

The guy is a jackass, plain and simple

If you cant understand the difference between being on a team that tries to grow you as a player vs one that sets you up for failure I can't help you.

Anyone w/a brain that has watched what has happened in Cleveland can see that Pettine has done him no favors w/the way he has been used.

You can't learn unless you are on the field and occasionally getting stuck in the game during garbage time w/an offense that isn't tailored to what you do well isn't the way to develop a guy.

Again, Cam was fortunate enough to have a coaching staff that had a clear development plan that plays to his strengths and stuck to it while Pettine has done everything he can to not play JM and has done very little to develop an offense that plays to his strengths. shite, last year the guy was having him run read/option which tells me the dude is clueless on what JM can do b/c that wasn't really something he did all that much at A&M.

I'd be pretty pissed if all my other co-workers got same/similar money and were allowed to party it up.

Yea, I wouldn't do a complete frick up any favors either. He was going to get his chance to play and learn. But wait, he fricked up yet again.

How do you know he isn't?

It's completely ordinary for guys to go on vacations during a bye week.

Then you would run an organization as shitty as the Browns.

You don't draft a guy and then ask him to be a completely different player while never giving the playing time needed to learn how to play that way if you want to succeed.

Good luck getting any player worth a shite to play for a team with that philosophy.

Dez Bryant says, "Hello."

The rules that Bryant agreed to back in 2012 go as thus:

(1) A midnight curfew. If he’s going to miss curfew, team officials must know in advance.

(2) No alcohol.

(3) He can’t attend strip clubs and can attend nightclubs only if they are approved by the team and he has a security team with him.

(4) He must attend counseling sessions twice a week.

(5) A rotating three-man security team will leave one man with Bryant at all times.

(6) Members of the security team will drive Bryant to practices, games and team functions.

He has to have the common sense to know that on this bye week, in this point in his career, he couldn't be out on the town. By focus on football, I mean he needed to lay low and not give the Browns and the media a reason to eat him alive.

There are tons of things he could have done with the weekend that wouldn't have put him in this situation and he pretty much chose the one thing he couldn't do.
