Mahomes has lost every big game he’s played in this year. That’s not MVP stats
The Chiefs defense has lost every big game they've played in (actually not true since they have beaten Baltimore, Pittsburgh, and the Chargers). Put the Chiefs defense on the Saints team and the Saints defense on the Chiefs and the Chiefs are 15-1 (I remember what the Saints defense played like in Week 1.) and the Saints are no better than 10-6. Saints defense has won the last two games for them. Chiefs defense has won exactly zero games for Mahomes this year.

It is true that the losses don’t fall solely on Mahomes. In discussion of the MVP race though, this is where Brees distances himself from Mahomes.

and when was the last time Andy Reid won a playoff game? Great coach my arse.
He’s in the top 10 most playoff wins

Mahommes makes some big mistakes in big games both turnovers and occasionally misses easy throws. He also makes more amazing throws/plays than anyone else that lead his team to a lot of points.
Brees doesn't make many mistakes. Usually he puts the ball where only his receiver can catch it which allows his team to win in many ways (defensively and with better special teams). The only game where Brees looked out of sorts was Dallas. The other low production games looked like poor pass protection, dropped balls and no separation by his WRs.
On the other hand, this year Mahommes has handled the pressure better than Brees due to his size, ability to escape the pocket and throw accurately on the run. It seems like Mahommes throws better out of the pocket sometimes and make the highlight throws that lift his team.
IMHO, if the Saints Offensive line stayed healthy, Brees would've stayed close enough statistically to win, but Mahommes has just done too much statistically to earn the MVP. I'm a big Saints/Brees fan and wish he'd win it, but other than record and intangible things like leadership, I don't see him winning unless the voters give it to him for his career accomplishments.

He won’t have Tyreke and Kelce running wide open all game FYI.
They're both good players but check their stats on dropped balls. Both big play receivers but at the same time can have those moments where they drop the pass on the big play, still really happy they're both Chiefs.

Below .500 in the playoffs, too, and he has one win in the postseason since 2009. I mean, 'playoff Andy Reid' is pretty much a meme at this point, even with Chiefs fans

That’s understandable given the massive playoff success they had before him??

Playoff ineptitude is very much part of the Andy Reid legacy and was a major reason Philly moved on from him in the first place.
I mean on some level it is indeed odd that the least clutch franchise in the NFL hired Reid, true. But your earlier post seemed to take offense to someone questioning Reid's postseason credentials, which is odd.
Google 'Andy Reid playoffs' when you get a chance.

They also have beaten the Steelers, Chargers & Ravens.
They beat a Chargers team that was 0-0, a Steelers team that was 0-0-1 and a Ravens that was 7-5. None of those games were really big games outside of maybe the Ravens which you could consider their 5th biggest game this season. Losses to the Patriots, Chargers, Seahawks and Rams were much bigger.

I was pro Brees midseason, but now I think PM deserves it more.
PM going for 50 TD's and 5000yds. Brees total of 3td/3int his last 4 games.
