Young has about a half second of time to throw back there. Not many QBs will flourish with that kind of pressure in their face every play.

He doesn't have good surrounding cast but some of his picks have just been terrible weak throws.

That’s fine. I still maintain that it’s way too early to call him a monumental bust.

I can respect that, but for what the Panthers paid to get him, his expectation is very high. Not sure many QBs could live up to that cost.

He's not good. Like I'll freely admit last year was a bad hand, but he's fricking broken right now.

Bill would probably take either of them over Jones at this point.

The man had a losing record with Drew Bledsoe in his prime. Without Brady we wouldn't even know this guy's name. He'd have been a career defensive coordinator and retired from the game.

Bryce has shown nothing to make anyone believe he is a starter in this league he’s going to be a bigger bust than Jamarcus.

If he never signs another contract he'll still make significantly less than Jamarcus did. He's literally the reason they put in the rookie wage scale. Sorry but he will always be the biggest bust

Bryce might end up with the unfortunate distinction of wasting the overall #1 pick in back to back years.

Can we get a heads up on next week's thread? Calvin Ridley last week. Mac this week. Julio? Bryce?

Bryce’s?

Eh.

A lot of them seem to be against safeties that he isn’t used to breaking on passes like they do. For someone as intuitive as he, I think he’ll be fine there.

Another good example is the Bland pick 6 last week. It seemed like a route that’s automatic. As in, Bryce read the defense and noticed an easy completion that is always a completion if the WR runs the proper level/depth/angle of route.

Bland made an unbelievable play and I don’t think the INT is a relevant data point that has anything to do with Bryce’s ability to be a good QB in the league.

He was light years ahead of Babe Laufenberg.

(I like both of them outside of their NFL stat lines, FWIW.)

Idk about much worse. Both are just bad period.

NE has a horrible roster management problem though. Jones isn't good enough, but in the long run they have some major problems that have to get addressed
