Any reason in particular that you are awarding Flagg the ROY when he is behind Kon in the race?

Lakers Org was such a disaster they needed the NBA to rig a trade to save them

Is he? I don’t track the NBA that closely, last I’d heard he was leading.

The NBA could prevent people from thinking this by having the lottery done live instead of in a back room prior to revealing the results. So in summary, hell yes the NBA orchestrated Luka to LA and giving Dallas the #1 pick.

Add to this the AD pick for the NO franchise THAT WAS OWNED BY THE NBA and sold with the promise of the #1 overall pick. Funny how these things "fall into place" when it is convenient.

I mean Luka had a better rookie year but Flagg is on a really impressive trajectory as well.

Flagg is a year younger than LD was and LD also had been playing pro against grown men in the euro league since he was 16. Flagg will be a better all around player, is more coachable, and doesn’t whine to officials every play.

They’re not a championship contender. They are able to skate by some average teams in the regular season right now but they won’t in the playoffs. Too weak defensively.

I’m in Dallas and there are a lot of Mavs fans that still can’t believe it and lost our fandom.

I was watching every game too now just watching box scores

Nico worked with the Lakers GM for years and they are good buddies. Turns out they have been talking for a month beforehand.

Most lopsided trade in history. Flagg is great but we should have a 26 year old Luka right now

He’s 27 now but I get your point. I think Dallas would’ve been pretty good last year if Kyrie hadn’t torn his ACL. That changed everything.

As for Luka, he is a traffic cone on defense and isn’t going to age well as he gets into his 30s. In the long run you might be more pleased with a much younger Flagg.
