Even Finebaum was mystified the other day how this all of a sudden became an issue. Did the SEC Commissioner recently circulate some talking points?

Some of those teams don't deserve to be ranked and won't by the end of the season. Ohio State won the title last year, so its not like we don't know what they're capable of. Pull your head out of your arse, thanks

If osu would have played a SEC schedule last year, they wouldn't have made the playoffs. It took to the end of the year to find themselves. They struggled against VT,went to ot vs PSU,and looked bad vs Michigan. Playing up and down thru 12 games with an SEC schedule equals multiple losses. They wouldn't have sniffed the playoffs. Do you think they would go undefeated with LSU or bama's schedule this year? Highly doubt it. Most SEC west teams could go undefeated or have one loss against osu's schedule this year and last. Not hard to beat ONE ranked team and big 10 scrubs

Our schedule will be middle of the road again, 40-50ish.

This is a non factor and the reason we have a playoff.

They should just move to a 128 game schedule and play every P5 team home and home every year. No bowl game, winner of the standings wins. It's the only fair way.

The chances are lower, but would have been somewhat higher than Bama and noticeably higher than LSU.

So what exactly is your issue? Who do you think is clearly better?

Alabama, Auburn, Ole Miss, Miss St, Arkansas, LSU and aTm would not go all unbeaten in the B1G. One a year possibly could. Just like tOSU possibly could in the SEC. This stupidity you're spewing is so worn. There's a reason there are not multiple unbeatens every year, because it's hard to do.

Ah yes, so rested and injury free that we went into our CCG and playoff run with our third string QB.

I really fricking hate the Buckeyes, but it is a fact that nobody had a better record, tougher schedule, and shallower quarterback depth chart in January than had Ohio State.

Hang your hate on meaningless rankings while OSU will play in playoffs and you will not.

To be fair, tOSU's OOC schedule is far stronger than LSU's OOC schedule.

We're going to get this thread every day aren't we? I'll start the thread tomorrow... it's like the DAT thread for OSU. I'll call it the "Daily the Ohio State University has a Weak Schedule Thread" or DtOSUHAWST for short.

I hate Ohio State, but they would beat LSU by 20-30 points.

And Miss State being ranked is a joke.
